The Saviland dip powder kit is an affordable option available on Amazon. Given the affordable price point, it is a great deal. It comes with your nail kit essentials as well as a variety of dip powder colors to kick off your collection.
However, the quality of your dip nail kit can greatly impact the ease of application. Some dip powder kits are much easier to use than others.
If you’re curious about how good the Saviland dip powder kit is, let’s dive in.
Pros & Cons of the Saviland Dip Nail Kit
Easy Application with Base Liquid
Admittedly, I didn’t have high hopes for this dip nail kit. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of application of the Saviland base liquid.
It wasn’t too thick. So even a beginner should have a fairly easy time achieving thin even layers. It also has a slower dry time so you can take your time brushing it on. Plus, you’ve got ample time to do the toothpick trick and get clean cuticle lines.
Top Coat Shine
The top coat was surprisingly shiny for the price point of the Saviland dip powder kit.
I followed my usual dip powder top coat application and had no issues. This set doesn’t seem to be prone to contamination either. So provided you follow that top coat process, you shouldn’t have to worry about your brush becoming hard.
Strong Unpleasant Odor
This Saviland dip powder review would’ve ended with a strong recommendation, BUT…
The activator in this dip nail kit has a terribly strong odor.
The potency of this odor is extremely unpleasant. Not to mention, it would likely be irritating for most people. Especially those who have sensitivities to strong odors. I ran into this exact issue when doing the Modelones dip powder review and Azure Beauty review as well.
Final Thoughts on Saviland Dip Powder
I would’ve loved to have given this dip nail kit a solid review. The base liquid offers easy application and the top coat has a nice finish. It’s definitely a top contender as far as quality and ease of application amongst dip powder nail kits in this price range.
However, the strong odor of the activator was a big obstacle. For that reason, I would caution anyone who is looking into this kit.
